Sri Ramachandra University was established in the year 1985 as part of the Sri Ramachandra Education & Health Trust under the leadership of Shri N.P.V. Ramaswamy Udayar. Ever since its inception, the institute grew from strength to strength gaining the status of a “Deemed University” in the year 1994.
The University, now consists of 9 Constituent Colleges with over 60 Departments offers about 100 Courses. More than 3,850 students call this campus their home.
