To start a Master’s Degree in TB and Pulmonary Medicine and a Diploma in TB and Respiratory Diseases for the Academic year 2008 -2009
To increase case finding and case holding in the DOTS programme and also develop a system for obtaining feedback from referral centers.
To standardize under graduate student evaluation and assessment methods based on Harvard Methodology
To increase research in both clinical and pharmacological areas
To further upgrade the department library with net based and electronic aids to enhance teaching methodology and student evaluation.
To develop a full fledged Sleep Lab facility in the department
To increase the number of spirometers to meet the ever increasing diagnostic / screening demand for research and routine testing.
