Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre was started in the year 1985. It is a state-of-the-art tertiary care centre providing quality health care comparable to the best in the world. It has world-class programs in cardiology, cardio-thoracic surgery, neuro surgery, craniofacial surgery, critical care, orthopaedics, nephrology to name a few. Ever since its inception SRMC has strongly believed in providing its expertise and care to everyone who needs it - especially to those who cannot afford it. 750 of the 1500 beds in SRMC provide free care which comes at a quality that is comparable to paid care elsewhere. Several of our philanthropic programs have won international acclaim. An example of our work is Smile Train-Cleft lip a program that provides free care to over 20,000 children with cleft lip annually. More needs to be done and we want you on our side.
