Ashwini, 6 months old child, came to us with a flat
face and a deformed head. The joints of her skull bone were fused earlier
than in a normal child. This has started putting pressure on her brain restricting
its growth. She needed a major surgery to get her to being normal. But her
father, who was a watchman at a school couldn’t afford the treatment.
But in March 2004, she was successfully operated and she has normal skull

80 year old Sri T.Ramanujam was traveling from Nagpur
to Chennai by train. On arriving at Chennai Central Railway station, he was
received by his son-in-law. On his way out, he suddenly collapsed and was
helped by bystanders to be seated on a bench but his condition was getting
worse. Thanks to the Emergency Medical Center run by Sri Ramachandra Medical
Center at Central Station, Sri. T Ramanujam got medical attention on time.

Mohan, at age 12, came to Sri Ramachandra Cleft and
Craniofacial Center with a malformation of his skull, forehead and nose, which
made him look disfigured and abnormal. His parents could not afford the expensive
corrective surgery which would make him look normal like the other kids. But
today, he has already undergone an extensive cranioplasty to reshape his skull
