Immunization and well baby services. Special clinical are conducted every week like Asthma Clinic, Paediatric nephrology clinic, Child Guidance clinic and adolescent clinic. There is also a cleft lip and palate clinic for the children where complete assessment, Nutrition advice and pre – operative fitness are given to them. We are actively involved in Community Health Programe and National health Programme like Pulse polio immunization. Several CME programmes, Symposium, seminars and conferences have been organized by the department. The social activities of the department are many. The department celebrates children’s day every year on 14th November and it features a well baby show, Nutrition education for mothers, Health education and Light entertainment programmes by children from special school. The department is involved in various camps and school health checkups. The department continues to be involved with assessment and treatment of special children in Sathyalok and Vidya Sudha. Children from SPASTIN were also brought to the OP for evaluation. Special camps have been held to serve School children for various diseases are being held regularly in the OPD.
The department continues to participate in the TTD Devastanam and Sringeri Camps and other camps organized by the Institution.
