A one month intensive speech training programme for children with stuttering, in the
age group of 7 and 11 is being organised by the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing
Sciences, Sri Ramachandra University at its campus in Porur, from 23rd April to 23rd May
2008, between 10 and 12 noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Children will be
provided group therapy to help them leam. strategies for improving their speech fluency,
communication skms and to build confidence for participating in group activities.
