CANCER RELATED PATHOLOGY WORKSHOP AT SRU

Sri Ramachandra University is organizing in its campus at Porur tomorrow Saturday ( a workshop on ‘immunohistochemistry’ which plays a vital role in providing a precise diagnosis, essential for treatment and cure of cancer. Eminent haemato-pathologist Dr.Anand Sreeram Lagoo. Director, Clinical Flow Cytometry Laboratory, Duke University, North Carolina, USA, will discuss the role of immunohistochemistry in lymphoid malignancies. Organised by the department of pathology, the workshop will provide hands on training in immunohistochemistry techniques. It is a powerful tool in the field of molecular pathology. It is a technique for identifying proteins in cellular or tissue constituents by means of antigen- antibody interaction. Pathologists and research scholars form different parts of India are participating.
