STUDENTS LEARN BASIC LIFE SAVING TECHNIQUES IN SUMMER CAMP AT SRU

Over a hundred students from different schools in the city studying 8 to j standard were given practical and hands on demonstration on some of the basic life saving techniques at Sri Ramachandra University, here yesterday. During a day long visit conducted by Science City, Cbennai, they visited the various colleges in the university and also the hospital and got information on various medical studies and treatment. They were also given a detailed demonstration on various basic life sitting techniques for different types of medical emergencies and were provided hands-on training with manikins. Organised as a five day summer science camp by Science City, the students were given a wide range of information on science, technology, medicine, environment, agriculture etc. Science City is organising a similar summer science camp for physically challenged students next week.
