The University of Wisconsin, Oshakosh, USA, has conferred the prestigious Florence Nightingale Award for the year 2008 on Prof P.V.Ramachandran, Chairman Nursing Education, Sri Ramachandra University. The award was given at Oshakosh, on the occasion of International Nurses Week. Prof Ramachandran has over five decades of service in nursing and teaching.
