Sri Ramachandra University is pleased to announce an important education event. Sri Ramachandra University and Harvard Medical International are creating a unique educational event to commemorate the tenth anniversary of their association. We invite you to be part of a conference on “Bridging the Health Care Education Gap” on the 28th of July 2007 at the Seminar Hall, Sri Ramachandra University Campus.

The one day conference has been designed to address important issues facing medical educators and health care professionals in next decade. Bringing together outstanding minds in health care and medical education, the conference will focus on three major areas – curricular challenges to bridge the health care education gap, reaching out to the needs of underserved populations through medical education and preparing future health care professionals for a “flat world”.

The format has been designed to maximize interaction with key note addresses followed by panels and open houses. Thus every participant in the conference becomes a resource person. The program is underwritten by the university and there is no registration fee. However pre-registration is required for all participants.
